News You Can Peruse

Hi there folks, I apologize again for a serious lack of activity in recent months. I’ve been fairly (and enjoyably) distracted by writing several reviews for the upcoming issue of Optical Sounds, which can be found at this page http://opticalsoundsfanzine.bigcartel.com/. For the issue, I wrote reviews for the Brian Jonestown Massacre albums that first caught my attention, the last performance on The BJM’s recent summer tour, and a couple of other album reviews by other acid rock acts. So please check out that issue when it’s out as well as the back issues of the zine, they’re all incredibly fantastic!

Also check out Turning Too Obscure for an upcoming collaborative piece I participated in recently about spoken word recordings. Also just read that blog anyway, there’s always something cool going on there weekly.

As of now I have a huge pile of material to review, but I am still looking for more, so if you’ve got music you want reviewed, please hit me up (and I promise it shall be reviewed here!)

Thanks for reading but for now as Nick Saloman of The Bevis Frond said, God Speed You to Earth.
