It’s hard to make a great Hendrix cover, but Michael Kiwanuka, who is an artistic heavyweight in his own right, has performed one hell of a great one. There are a few different videos of him performing “May This Be Love” (AKA “Waterfalls”), but this one I think is the most heartfelt and ethereal. It just knocks you flat and holds you and your attention until the last note has finished reverberating.
