Silver Machine – Lovebug

Dark-edged monochromatic neopsychedelia hasn’t been this cold and sly since the debut of The Vacant Lots.

While this UK band’s sound bears some similarities to Hawkwind’s, of whom the group’s name derives from, I find their slightly industrial and minimalistic sound to be closer to the likes of The Velvet Underground and The Telescopes.

The distorted VHS quality video for this new track, created with Snake Chime Zen, is a perfect visualization of the group’s faded, lo-fi psychedelia—which is strained and blurred with the static of white noise.

Check out more of their material here.
