Song Premiere: “Light Cones” by White Manna

With “Light Cones,” White Manna prove themselves once again to be a major mercurial force within the world of modern psychedelic rock. Check it out below:

“Light Cones” is a whirling cyclone of interstellar rock and a massive highlight from White Manna’s upcoming LP, First Welcome, which will be co-released by Centripetal Force and Cardinal Fuzz on December 10th.

The California-based White Manna is known for tirelessly exploring new sounds and always pushing against the very boundaries of rock (just check out last year’s dynamic ARC record for example). With a dizzying array of trumpets, synths and saxes colliding headfirst into propulsive beats and deafening riffs, First Welcome might be the band’s deepest and most eclectic foray into cosmic space music yet. The Nik Turner vibes on “Light Cones” are indeed just the tip of the astral rock iceberg.
