RCU Presents: Jeffrey Alexander & The Heavy Lidders, Rootless and Seawind of Battery

Record Crates United proudly presents Philadelphia’s Jeffrey Alexander & The Heavy Lidders, a heavy supergroup of Grateful Dead-inspired psychedelic rockers, the cosmic folk stylings of Rootless, and a special appearance by one of New Jersey’s finest ambient guitar prodigies, Seawind of Battery.

If you’re a fan of the Dead, Six Organs of Admittance, Grouper, Julianna Barwick, Krautrock, Brian Eno, Aldous Harding, Traffic, Daniel Bachman, Pink Floyd, Ryley Walker, Kikagaku Moyo, William Tyler, Jack Rose, SUSS, Gunn-Truscinski Duo and all things WFMU, then this is the concert for you. If you ever wanted to come hang with us and other RCU fans, we would love to see you. This is an intimate show in a backyard setting in Cranford, NJ, and tickets are limited. Click here to get yours now! (You can also Venmo $20 to @RecordCratesUnited instead, if you want to avoid Eventbrite’s fees).

Doors at 2:30, music at 3.

Show is 21+ and BYOB, snacks and non-alcoholic beverages will be available for purchase. There will be RCU and band merch for sale and some freebie records to grab. Some chairs are available, but please bring a blanket or your own chair if possible.
