Video Premiere: “Pinx Me,” by LEMAT

Get revved up with the rotoscope boogie of LEMAT’s “Pinx Me”

LEMAT, a musical alias of Anton Cerda, with an ever-shifting style and lineup, plays an acoustic Bo Diddley-like rave up shuffle on this cut from his brilliant Ensemble Of Organic Amazements Vol. I & II collection.

This CD, which contains a stellar set of off-kilter pop and surreal folk rock numbers, is available now through Half Shell Records. The songs on these albums were originally recorded across the US, Mexico and Germany as Cerda wandered and toured adventurously between 2015 and 2019.

One of the highlights from this compilation is “Pinx Me,” which bops like a Marc Bolan-infused country stomp. The song’s new animated video by Ines Haro Carmona perfectly captures the song’s grooving retro charm and kinetic energy. Check it out:

Be sure to grab a copy of this killer CD today, and to follow LEMAT on Instagram, Facebook and Bandcamp today.
