Sometimes fan-made music videos are the best music videos.
Abronia, the psychedelic desert rockers from Portland, OR, craft some of the most original and unique records of this or any decade. So it’s no surprise that their most devoted fans would also be daringly creative. For instance, one such fan, Mike Adame, created an absolutely mind-bending music video for the band’s song “Games,” from their Map of Dawn album, which was released earlier this year. The video was so good in fact, the band decided to adopt it as an official music video. Check it out:
The hypnotic and eye-catching effects and dreamlike imagery perfectly accompany and illustrate the song’s vision quest vibes and cinematic sound. It’s a beautiful and transportive watch. Here’s hoping there will be more collaborations between Abronia and Mr. Adame in the near future.
