This need for catharsis and escape, as well the skills TMFA gleaned from his lessons, certainly all come through in these cosmic ragas.

Throughout the album, TMFA utilizes fingerpicking and slide guitar to emulate Hindustani instruments like sitars and swarmandals, to create dreamy devotional soundscapes that make you feel as though you’re drifting away on clouds of pink incense.

The album is rich with a deeply entrancing, spiritual atmosphere, which serves as a perfect hazy backdrop for TMFA’s hypnotic talba-like percussion, Balinese flutes and snaking guitar melodies to glide over.
