Come to the annual Record Crates United Garden Party on June 27 (rain date June 28). Set in the idyllic backyard of RCU headquarters in Cranford, NJ, the Garden Party will feature music by Julie Beth Napolin, Heathmonger, the Jon Camp Band and Cranford’s own Kevin Harrison.
This year’s event is a benefit show for Cranford Family Care in support of the Niotis and Salas families. Let’s come together in community for an afternoon of music for a cause.

Julie Beth Napolin is a songwriter, author, and teacher based in the Hudson Valley, New York. She has previously played in the bands Citay and Meridians, and her solo work has recently been celebrated by the likes of Aquarium Drunkard and Bandcamp Daily (and me!) for weaving together soulful folk music with cosmic, ethereal vibes and atmospheres into something wholly unique and deeply moving.
Heathmonger is a New Brunswick-based power trio that gives psychedelic rock their own unique spin, blending elements of shoegaze, garage rock and prog-leaning jams into their sound.
Jon Camp is best known for his astonishing fingerstyle guitar playing, but on his latest album, Proceed, he has expanded his sound to a full band, while embracing the expressive qualities of his leectric Telecaster and Creston guitars to create propulsive astral Americana music.
Kevin Harrison, a neighbor to RCU, released albums under his own name and in the groups Broken Compass Society and Kevin Harrison & True North over the last 15 years that ranged from folk rock to DIY atmospheric rock ripe with blues licks and dreamy effects. Being a fellow resident of Cranford, his solo acoustic set will be the perfect opener for truly bringing the message of the day close to home.
Speaking of RCU shows, please don’t forget that next week is our next co-produced show with Prototype 237, with Emily Robb, The Early, Bent Light (Michael Slyne), Amanmademadman and Big Acid. Please grab yourself a ticket here and come hand with us!
