A while back, I came across an incredible recording from one of the stops on the Joe Boyd reading tour (with excerpts of his fantastic book, White Bicycles). Accompanied with his was the enigmatic Robyn Hitchcock, playing covers of songs by the artists that Boyd read about and worked with, including the likes of Syd Barrett, Nick Drake, Fairport Convention, The Incredible String Band, etc.

At any rate, after listening to this (bootlegged) concert several times, I never even once considered to look for any video of one of these shows until very recently. To my great surprise, I found a Tiny Desk concert where they are featured. Honestly, I have no idea why I haven’t heard of or seen this video ’til just now, but here we are. Enjoy it!
