To say that Can was and still is an influential band would be a major understatement. Countless artists and musicians from very diverse backgrounds and styles can easily pinpoint some inspiration from the German kosmische band. So losing both Holger Czukay and Jaki Liebezeit, each a founding member of the group, in one year has been a major blow to the creative community.
