Upupayāma Returns November 4th with The Golden Pond

Italian multi-instrumentalist Upupayāma continues his unique Eastern and Western folk-infused spiritual psychedelia on The Golden Pond, which is available for preorder today (after 8:30AM CT) from Centripetal Force and Cardinal Fuzz Records.

Hailing from a tiny mountain village situated above the city of Parma, Italy, Upupayāma (AKA Alessio Ferrari), hypnotized minds and enriched souls with his self-titled LP last year (also available on Centripetal Force and Cardinal Fuzz).

On this album, Ferrari continues the ritualistic dreamlike sound of his previous effort, but with from a slightly more rock-oriented angle. Just check out the meditative “Sata me Pani” below, for an example:

Fans of Kikagaku Moyo, Fit & Limo and Abronia would surely love this LP! Click here to preorder your copy on vinyl if you’re in America, and here if you’re in the UK.

If you really enjoyed the sound of this record, then you’re in luck, because Centripetal Force will also have a repress of Upupayāma’s first LP also available on November 4th.
