Daytime Moon – “Soaker”

To announce the release of his new solo guitar record, Daytime Moon dropped a meditative new instrumental, “Soaker.”

Set for a release on February 25 via our pals over at Petal Motel, Chrysanthemum is the first solo instrumental release by Daytime Moon (AKA Brent Simpson). Simpson, an artist with multiple titles in a multitude of different genres and styles under his belt already, plays with complete freedom here.

“Soaker” is an acoustic fantasia that ruminates on a quiet, contemplative theme. Its relaxed yet slightly melancholic fingerpicking suggests moments of hushed rural beauty and the bliss that can be found in the most silent of moments. Check it out below:
